Welcome to the R-Hauz Community. Business is not as usual - but we haven't hit pause.
Embracing this new state of being has allowed us to focus on perfecting our process,
designs and creating content we hope you love! We're taking this time to work with and
for you, doing all the leg work so as soon as we are able, we can get right to permit
submission and building.
While residential and commercial construction across Ontario is still on hold, we are
working within the provincial guidelines to get our six storey Avenue Townhome pilot
completed. Now is the time to get prepared to apply for when the City of Toronto does
open and new permits are a go. Let's talk!
Being close - but separate - to our loved ones has never been so
important. The Elevation Architects model is our most versatile laneway suite, able to
accommodate most lots on Toronto's laneways. It is a one bedroom, two storey, laneway
suite with garage. Ideal for both the home owner and the suite dweller. Our suites can
be imagined however you'd like; as generational housing, for returning graduates, as
rental property, or as home office space. All of our models include the full range of
R-Hauz features, at a fixed price. We take care of everything from permits, to design
and construction. Unlike traditional builds, our prefabricated panels allow for a much
shorter construction window - we'll be in and out in two months. Learn more about our models.
Our blog is live! So far we have focused on sharing the research that is at the very
foundation of our products. Foundations such as, what is "missing middle" density and
why are laneway suites an important addition to the fabric of Toronto's building
landscape? Why are technologies like BIM important for our process, and our customers?
How do laneway suites reduce contributions to greenhouse gas emissions? This month,
we'll be sharing strategies in finance going forward, our construction process,
laneway eligibility requirements and a customer's journey in selecting one of our
suites. We'd love to hear what you think.
